waiting for my moment.

You know, ever since joining the military, when I go out into the normal world (well, should I say outside the base on which the Academy resides) I have met some of the nicest people in the world.  In high school, if our soccer team went on a trip, the only people who would do anything for us was our parents.  Here, someone will drive you an hour to the airport on their day off simply so you can go see your family out of the goodness of their heart.  

This is such a strange concept to me.
